Took a trip to the east coast to draw on the sandy beaches of Coldingham Bay. It turned out to be a beautiful sunny day, ideal for hanging out and drawing. I didn’t get to spend more time in St Abbs but hopefully like to go back soon to check it out further.
Was in Nice n Sleazy for some food, big fan of the burgers done by Where the Monkey Sleeps. I think it was called a Behemoth with Stilton, bacon and dill pickles as toppings and being in a pub the meat patty was soaked in Jack Daniels.

A drawing trip to Arran. The pier was pretty busy with the Holy Isle Ferry taking folk over the water to well, the Holy Isle as well as mackerel fishing boats and some sailing boats all queuing up.
Took a quick trip to Arran, the weather was amazing for some cycling and drawing. Though I was doing so much drawing in Lamlash I didn’t cycle much. I get the feeling you either draw or cycle its really difficult to do both. Keeping an eye or ear out for golf balls.
A couple of weeks ago I was lucky to see the Sea Odyssey display down in Liverpool. I’ve got a few more pieces that I’ve been working on that I’ll hopefully post soon(ish). It was crazy seeing kids wave at the gigantic puppets, the whole crowd was totally swept up by it all.
Over the weekend I went to check out Jeremy Heller’s installation of a bouncy Stonehenge called Sacrilege as part of the Glasgow International Festival of Visual Arts.
